Scottish Afternoon 28.1.2025

We had the most wonderful Scottish Afternoon on Tuesday this week, with all our classes giving some brilliant renditions of some well known Scottish Poetry.

Our Eday Class (P1) recited My Wee Doggie by J.K. Annand.

Our Sanday Class (P2/3) gave us Mince and Tatties by J.K. Annand.

Our Copinsay Class (P3/4) sang the most wonderful rendition of A Red, Red Rose by Robert Burns.

Our Swona Class (P4/5) recited The Crocodile by J.K. Annand.

Our Eynhallow Class (P5/6) brought Embdy Lost a Jaikit by Pat McCrory to life.

Our Egilsay Class (P6/7) threw everything at Too Messie for Nessie by Donald Nelson.

Our judging panel, made up of our ministers from the Milestone Kirk, and Ashleigh from our Parent Council, had a tough call in deciding upon the winner of our Frienship Cup.

They decided that our Egilsay class were just awesome, despite the messy bones! Congratulations for a brilliant recital!
