School Finance

School Finance Report December 2024

Across Term 2, we have been continuing to work on aspects of our school building that require to be maintained or improved. Spending has involved monies for paint for our new Library space, as well as general ongoing spends on oil and gas.

We have completed our spend of our supplies and services budget for 2024-25, which has included paper for photocopying and postages.

There has been, overall, very limited spending as we have completed this across our main DSM areas. Unspent monies link directly to property in the main.

Our Pupil Equity Fund continues to be spent on staffing to support learners with reading. We have also put £96 towards online resources and licences to help with this work.

Our School Funds has seen a lot of fund raising this term, with £338.64 raised from the sale of our Christmas Cards; £432.15 from the sale of class photographs and £913.95 raise at our car boot sale.
We have been proactively spending this on Dandelion Reading books for the Early Years, Comprehension Resources for the middle school, and have bought into Reading Eggs; an online resource to help with the engagement in reading. We also bought our Christmas Tree for outside the school.

Our Parent Council have also supported our resourcing with the purchase of Totem and Talisman reading books and STILE activities and boards for Literacy.

For term 3, we are unlikely to have any bigger spends and the focus for all of these budgets will be on maintaining current provisions.
