Our Primary Egilsay class lead the most wonderful and respectful Service of Remembrance at the school today. They focused on their own family stories of how World War I and II affected the lives of those living in Orkney. The class led us in our minute silence and even shared how their family members had made wedding dresses out of parachute material when things like fabric were rationed. We cannot thank them enough for not only sharing their amazing learning, but leading us in our own remembrance when each of our classes laid their own wreaths. Some photos from their assembly are in our online gallery.
