Orkney Islands Council had a couple of phone calls from families seeking clarity on whether the schools are open on Monday 2nd May 2022, which historically would have been the May public holiday.
Just to remind everyone that schools will be open on 2nd May 2022 but closed on 2nd and 3rd June 2022 due to the Queens Platinum Jubilee.
